EVENTS AT CORTEZ DC

CORTEZ is one of the premier Washington, D.C. event venues. We regularly host birthday, engagement, graduation, alumni, after-party, and other small to large sized events at CORTEZ. We love hosting events! The minimum size for an event at CORTEZ is 10 people. Unlike a lot of DC venues, CORTEZ does not charge room rental fees. Depending on the time of year and day/night of the week, we also normally do not charge minimum spends. If you are interested in hosting an event at CORTEZ, please email us at events@cortezdc.com. Frequently Asked Event Questions

  • We serve our chips, salsa, and guacamole on the roof. All of our other food is served on the restaurant level, but our guests are of course welcome to bring their food up to the roof!

  • Yes, a cake or cupcakes is fine. We recommend bringing in your own plates and cutlery.

  • Yes, you can bring in decorations and balloons, but please not glitter. We just that ask that you clean up after yourselves.

  • Your guests are welcome to pay individually or you can set up a tab for your guests. If you would like to set up a tab for your guests, please email our events team at events@cortezdc.com

  • We only have a couple of high top tables on our roof and they are first come, first served. We have rail tables throughout our rooftop area, and your guests are of course welcome to use them!
